December 26, 2009 - For people with Javascript-shaped eyeballs

I’ve started fleshing out the wiki on Archaos’s Google Code page – certainly worth a look if you’ve any technical interest in the project. Take a look and let me know your thoughts – I’ll be adding more content to the wiki as I sort out through my stacks of notes.

    Some quick observations:

    * Ghost and Spectre – I may be wrong here, but I don’t think these units block LoS.
    * For completion you may want to include the (unused) Troll definition used in the original game: magic resistance: 4, balance: -1, ranged combat: 0, defence: 8, movement: 1, manoeuvre: 1, flying: false, mount: false, cast_range: 1, range: 0, combat: 4, cast chance: 6 (0.7 using your definition).

Cheers Andy, I lost the source where I got the original stats from (one of those many cases of really useful pages disappearing from the net and being replaced with a crappy portal/search site)

A few years ago a wrote a small script to dump all the gfx, stats, and other information from a Chaos spectrum snapshot (uncompressed .sna file). You may find it useful.
